miauu's Slate Material Cloner allows you to:

Clone materials across Slate Material Editor tabs/views. Materials can be cloned as instances or copies, as many times as needed, in any tabs/views you choose.
Export and Import with Layout Preservation. Export selected materials to a .mat file with their original node positions preserved. When imported, materials are restored to the exact same layout in the Slate Material Editor.
Quickly Copy and Past selected materials between two or more open 3ds Max sessions, preserving their full layout.

The tool's user interface is fully integrated into the Slate Material Editor - no additional UI is required.
